Even with moisture in the plastic wrapping. Put required batteries in item & remote. Indicator lights came on, but item didn't function as it's supposed to. To be fair to seller, his description didn't actually state that it truly works as it's supposed to, but rather just alluded to it. Item has a form of sentimental value to me, so will keep even though non-functional
