Seller Notes: “Very Good. You can see the covers in the photos. They are in really nice condition, very clean, one ... “Very Good. You can see the covers in the photos. They are in really nice condition, very clean, one white spot on the rear cover. The cover edges are in excellent shape, no rubbing. The corners look very good, each with only a speck-sized spot of superficial rubbing. The top page edge is gilt. The middle and bottom page edges are deckled or rough-cut. There is a tan stain just off the bottom edge of the middle page edge. The two blank front end papers and the frontispiece page are bound together but cleanly detached. No other page in the book is detached. In fact, all of the subsequent pages (599 in total, followed by two unnumbered pages of advertisements and one rear blank end paper) are nicely, tightly bound. A tissue guard separates the frontispiece from the title page, which has red and black print. The title page has a small tear off its top edge and two light, small spots. The pages are in really nice condition. They have a semi-glossy feel.....Condition Continued below....”
