The garment i purchased "new" appeared to have been washed in a fragrant detergent, so it was no longer new. The whole family is sensitive to detergents with fragrance. I had to soak the garment overnight, then wash it separately and it still has a smell to it. The added perfume in the package compounded things. Garment otherwise in great condition.
