The fact that my offer was immediately accepted only reinforces this thought .When I checked the seller's listing again, it was shown at £10 less than the original - near the same as Oxford's price for similar items. Because the prices varied, in certain circumstances the eBay system just showed the lower price, even though the lower priced one had already sold - we have no idea why this happens, but we did advise buyer to enquire with eBay if they were concerned. The offer made to us was accepted because it was reasonable, had it been unreasonable it would not have been.
