You have to wait for the light to stop blinking then start cutting again. For a 12in long cut on a 1/4" piece of plastic it cut off 5 times. The only way to get rid of this cheap junk is by leaving actual product reviews. No don't bother reaching out to send back or send a replacement. I'll just eat the cost so other people don't have too. Stop selling this stuff.
