Seller Notes: “Light tanning at the top edge of the covers. Wear/rubbing to the leather along the edges of the ... “Light tanning at the top edge of the covers. Wear/rubbing to the leather along the edges of the spines. Small bits of leather have chipped away at various places on the spines (see photos). Some of the cover corners have wear. A small bit of the top leather layer has peeled away at the top-right corner of the volume 1 back cover. Some pages are still attached at the outer edge. All volumes are tightly bound with no cracks and no loose pages. All covers are firmly attached. Nice interiors - the pages are clean and nearly appear unread with no notable issues found. Bright gilt top page edges. each front pastedown has an old bookplate affixed. Overall the set is in Very Good condition.”
