The Vivitar Series 1 is a small telephoto lens ideal for full-length or three-quarter portrait shots and outdoor shooting over a distance. The 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 lens allows photographers to take photos at shutter speeds that would normally require a tripod. Rubber manual focus grips make the Vivitar camera lens for Minolta easy to adjust and use, while the autofocus feature is fast and quiet. At less than 6 inches long and weighing under 20 oz, the Vivitar Series 1 is quite small for a telephoto lens, making its use less cumbersome. The 70-300 mm f/4.5-5.6 lens includes infrared focusing for often-used focal lengths, and has a minimum focusing distance of 3.3 ft. The interior of the Vivitar camera lens for Minolta includes twelve lens elements in nine groups, and all optics are multicoated to ensure high-quality sharpness and contrast. The Vivitar Series 1 combines a lightweight design and ease of use into a telephoto lens suitable for both novice and experienced photographers.
