    I have a Fan-Attic solar fan that was installed 15 years ago, and it finally stopped working after making a lot of bearing noises in recent years. I opened up the old motor, and the commutator is so worn by the brush contacts that it probably can't be refurbished, so I'm really pleased that it's possible to buy one of these matching replacement motors. I got it installed, and it's now quietly whirring away, just like when the Fan-Attic was first installed.
