Old hose cracked right at the Hose Clamp at the top, old rubber hard as a piece of plastic. new Hose is a direct fit, nice and ply able, and made in the U.S.A. Shipping was just a few days, and was a good price. Actually bought 2 hoses, also have another Maytag I have had for a few years as a back up machine, 2nd Hose is to be installed on it, as that Hose is about the same age.
