The shirt has a center back box pleat for extra room in the chest and shoulders when reaching forward in the arms. I do not stretch out the box pleat when laying the silk top flat. Measurements are taken when lying flat and are true. If the buyer was not happy, I surely would have taken a return since I'm a very very small seller and want my buyers to be happy with my items.
