The original adjustment hinges are aluminum and bend when over tightened. This is the weak link in these saws but this looks to be a great replacement. Time will tell. Shipping was fast part is new design little pricey but now my 35 year old saw should be good for another 30+ years. Great seller will purchase again if I refurbish another saw.
