- l***4 (21)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseI had difficulty getting the ARES RAM to work, and was convinced it was incompatible with my computer. This surprised the seller and I based on the specs. After experimenting based on the seller's suggestion, I discovered that a GA-970-D3P BIOS default needed changing to activate XMP (Extreme Memory Profiling). With that (not initially obvious) change, the RAM works great. I am pleased that the seller was prepared to accept it back and issue a refund, but I am keeping it.

It was well wrapped and exactly as described. I had no issues after setting the XMP profile to 1.3 in bios to make it run at 2400Mhz and I also ran memtest86 for an hour just to be sure. No errors were found and everything works fine. I'm very pleased with the seller and the product, which I bought at a discount from the auction.
