The serial on the box matches the one on the drive and the packaging looks legit, also speed test show the drive running at a good speed and I've installed my OS on it and documents (around 600GB), so at this point I'm assuming it's a genuine drive. Worth mentioning, that sellers themselves can also get duped by fake products, buying fake stock and passing it on without knowing!
