    The rings are cheap. I ended up picking up some alternative connectors at Lowes. It does work though. One of my OEM springs are missing and the trunk wouldn't open half the time. My trunk now opens half-way, but won't stay open. If both OEM springs were installed and they were weak, I believe these would be enough boost to fix the problem w/o replacing the OEM springs. The seller was good.
