    An excellent modification to really get the most out of your Mega Drive, the improvement in audio for a model II is pretty significant especially, well worth the money. I didn't have too much trouble installing this kit, but it does need some fine soldering skills and patience. The 5.6K pullup resistors are not mentioned in any of the installation guides I found but I think they need to go from the RGB pads to the 5V pad on the 3BP board if I understand correctly.

    Thanks for your feedback. the 5.6K ohm pullup resistors are ONLY for the rare VA3/4 Model 2 consoles which require lifting the VDP pins. We will add some instructions to the guide regarding the resistors to make things clearer. Kind regards, Retro Upgrades.
