Negligible casting distance increase and no luck increasing effectiveness with 1/16oz lures (over stock). It could simply be the reel and not the bearing "upgrade." I'll leave them in as I can't return them, and changing the bearing on the spindle was a pain. Reel oil makes a little bit of difference in noise but the reel doesn't feel or sound as smooth as it did before.
