This newscreen was an exact replacement for my Garmin 547xs. I cracked my front glass trying to remove it from old screen. They say you can remove it with heat. I believe 9 out of 10 times you will damage the glass. Garmin did not plan for this. Replaced glass with 1/8” plexiglass and siliconed it in enclosure. Used black double sided tape to mount the LCD to the back of the plexiglass. Dark line in 2nd pic is “scan line” from taking picture of LCD with dig camera. Screen is perfectly clear.
