The use of original part numbers is an excellent idea as for older vehicles the dealer does not have access to original parts but will give you original part numbers to source the parts on your own. Received the package, gave it to offices dealer who installed the part no problem, and issue fixed. Land Rover have superseded this part twice from the original design. If your latch doesn't have any plastic parts then you must have an original from build latch, most likely MWC1477. This was discontinued a number of years ago. The aftermarket FQJ500250 is of the same design as the current Genuine. This is the first that I have heard of this. You could have just contacted us to resolve the issue. We don't make the parts.
