The seller handled everything well, but the felt seal was sewn incorrectly. Where both ends need to be joined, it is sewn folded and bunched up rather than sewn flat. It needs to be sewn flat or it cannot be installed properly in the dryer. This is not the seller's mistake, but Whirlpool's mistake, since this is an actual Whirlpool OEM part. I bought one of these previously from a different seller and it had exactly the same problem, so it doesn't matter who I order this from, it won't work.
