    Purchased bios chip for HP laptop after a failed update from HP website. Seller was very knowledgeable and responsive as I did run into issues. After installing the first time I must have had a corrupt copy stored somewhere as it over wrote the new bios chip. Contacted seller and explained what happened. Seller gave me many options to try but I still had a black screen. Part was covered under warranty and another was sent. Removed CMOS battery and hard drive this time and PC is now running again
