    Cable itself is gorgeous and conductors functional. My only real gripe is that I paid 30 dollars for an 8 foot section that looked like it had been rubbed down with sand paper in spots. My best guess is abrasion from the winding process at the tail end of the spool, but for the money I had hoped my aesthetic cable would have arrived without those blemishes, or Alternatively had been informed of the condition.

    Hello, sorry to hear this! I would be happy to send you a new piece of cord. You are correct about the abrasion, these thick 14 gauge cords are difficult to braid without any abrasion (and the rayon cloth is more prone to showing abrasion vs the cotton), but what you have there looks extreme and not the norm, usually the abrasion is minor and almost unnoticeable.
