Everything under my left hand is dark to the left of 7-U-J-M-alt. The part that is lit up is noticeable dimmer than the original keyboard. I plugged my old keyboard (missing a shift key) back in to test and the entire backlight worked and it was much brighter.Not thrilled the backlight doesn t fully work, I do a bit of typing in the dark and the backlight is helpful.
