We don't allow counterfeit items or unauthorised copies to be listed on eBay.

Most weapons can't be listed on eBay because of strict laws banning the sale of such weapons and/or weapon parts without an applicable valid licence and/or approval of the relevant authority. To safeguard the community, we may also ban other related items that are legal to sell outside of eBay.

Multi-level marketing, pyramid, and matrix programs are often regulated, or illegal, and are not allowed to be listed or advertised on eBay.

Bootleg recordings are unauthorized recordings of concerts or live performances. We don't allow listings for bootleg recordings on eBay.

Mobile phone service contracts may be listed on eBay either alone or bundled with a phone, subject to such a transfer of mobile phone service contracts being permitted under the original contract between the mobile phone company and the seller.
