Taking a nod from the classic Air Jordan 5, the Jordan Grind 2 incorporates a composition that centers on a lightweight sneaker with superior support. This running shoe's Lunarlon foam midsole and its laser-etched outsole are designed to protect feet and to keep them feeling comfortable after even the most strenuous run. Made specifically for all those Oklahoma Sooner fans out there, this colorway features a rich maroon color scheme on an upper made out of nubuck and synthetic overlays. A midfoot strap helps secure the foot in place, while the Sooner logo appears on the sneaker's upper. This silhouette was released in October of 2018 along with four different colorways to honor college teams - Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, and UNC.
