Very good pair of Irish silver sugar tongs. In excellent condition they are hallmarked on the inside of one arm, for John Power in Dublin in around 1810.no date letter, but this date from the punch outlines.

They are hallmarked for London 1795 by Peter & Ann Bateman. The tongs are approx. 5.5"/14cm long, weigh 32gm/1.0 Troy and the condition is very good.

Hallmarked for LONDON 1870, with makers mark for WILLIAM & GEORGE SISSONS. GOOD HAND ENGRAVED, SHAPED ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER 2- HANDLE, BEAD EDGE SUGAR BOWL. Made from a good thick gauge of silver with nice hand engraved design and decoration to shaped body, also engraved handles.

They are hallmarked with the lion passant and makers mark only, and date to c1780. The tongs are approx. 5.5"/14cm long, weigh 34gm/1.1 Troy and the condition is very good.

Large heavy Englishantique 19th Century early Victorian solid sterling silver sugar bowl by the silversmiths Roberts & Slater - (1853-1865), inexcellent condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1853.

It is hallmarked to the base with the lion passant (indicating a minimum 0.833 fineness) and a makers mark 'ZZ', and to the side with a Minerva head stamped with the letter 'A', to indicate in which of the then 17 Dutch assay offices it was hallmarked.

Summary Antique French SILVER Ornate SUGAR TONGS. Item is in antique condition. Signs of age & use.

Hallmarked with the lion passant, King George III duty mark and the makers initials GB which is London Silversmith George Burrows I and the date letter is C for 1798. Superb antique solid sterling silver Georgian George III sugar tongs.

(Five pairs of tongs weigh 95 g. All are in good condition with NO repairs or initials. 3) BIrmingham 1902 by WD: 9.0 cm.

They have been superbly made in what I suspect is the Kings Pattern variant. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They are also unusually heavy weighing 65 grams.

This beautiful jug and bowl are made from high gauge silver. The bases of both pieces are stamped ‘900’ for the grade of silver used (90% purity) which is slightly lower than sterling grade. Jug - 8.8 cm (3.5”) tall to the tip of the handle.

Stamped 925 STERLING with the makers initials UM which is Danish Silversmith Uwe Moltke. Uwe Moltke is a well known Danish goldsmith and silversmith and designer on whom several marks of honour have been conferred.

This sugar basin or sucriere was made during the Regency period and has a very stylish boat-shaped appearance on four ball feet. The maker's mark is part rubbed, but is most likely the "TR" maker's mark for Thomas Richards who was a known maker of teapots, coffee pots and related hollowware.

Quality large antique solid sterling silver Victorian Scottish Kings pattern sugar tongs. Fully hallmarked for Glasgow, date letter S for 1863 makers initials are M & A (Muirhead & Arthur). End of the sugar tongs have been engraved with initials.

It is hallmarked with the lion passant indicating a minimum 0.833 purity, date mark 'y' for 1933, and a Minerva head with the letter 'M', to indicate at which of the then 17 Dutch assay offices it was hallmarked.
