The Armstrong flute headjoint was exactly as described and pictured. I purchased this modern thin wall headjoint to use with a vintage Haynes. I wasn't very familiar with Armstrong headjoints and didnt find much information on the internet, so was pleasantly surprised with an even nicer sound than expected, not to mention it's very pretty with a gold crown, and engraved lip plate.
