it is in good shape...i still to this day can't understand how my original soldering iron could have so many missing parts when i tried to recently use it.....after i got out of prison and then jail cells here and there...a lot of my stuff came up missing...but some was preserved...so the used one works fine as a replacement for what i already had which was old and used anyway.
