THE LOCOMOTIVE HAS BEEN TESTED AND RUNS WELL IN FORWARD AND REVERSE. THE HEADLIGHT AND SMOKE UNIT WORK. THERE ARE A COUPLE MINOR PAINT CHIPS ON THE EDGE OF THE CAB. THE TENDER HAS BEEN TESTED AND THE WHISTLE WORKS AS IT SHOULD. ALL ITS STEPS ARE INTACT. THE CONDITION OF THE CARS ARE ALL EX++ TO LIKE NEW. THE ORIGINAL BOXES VARY IN CONDITION. THE LOCO & TENDER BOXES COME WITH THEIR CARD BOARD INSERTS. SOME OF THE BOXES HAVE MISSING END FLAPS WITH SOME TAPE REPAIRS. THE ORIGINAL SET BOX IS VERY GOOD WITH ALL ITS FLAPS. THERE IS A TAPE REPAIR TO ONE CORNER AND A SMALL TEAR TO ONE END FLAP. THE SET ALSO INCLUDES SOME SMOKE PELLETS-GREASE & (2) LIONEL PAPER WRAPS NOT SHOWN IN PICTURES. THE SET DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACK OR A TRANSFORMER. I CAN MAKE ARRANGEMENTS TO INCLUDE EITHER AT A NOMINAL COST IF DESIRED. ANY SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS ARE ARE CLEARLY VISIBLE IN PICTURES.”
