POSTAGE: Second Class UK only, packaging and handling charges of £0.70 will apply to this auction. If requested, 'Recorded/Signed For' will cost an extra GBP 0.95. As a guide, ordinary postage to Europe is GBP 1.10 (to 20grams) and Overseas a minimum of £1.50 (to 20grams) + GBP £5.10 fee for 'International Signed For' protection if requested. Larger items such as some covers, larger miniature sheets, album pages and other items of ephemera will have to be charged for at a higher rate because of size rather than necessarily weight. Wherever possible, I will consolidate multiple purchases into a single postage and packing charge.

 PAYMENT: Must be made by PayPal or £ sterling cheque only please. Regretfully I am unable to accept US $ cheques or Euro cheques or £sterling cheques drawn on banks outside the UK as a result of the high cost of bank charges. Payment is expected within two weeks after the end of the auction please.

RISK: Please note that all items are mailed at buyer's risk. Refund due to postal loss or theft can only be given where shipment by Registered Mail has been requested and paid for. Thankfully, it is very rare that an item posted in the UK fails to be delivered. For added security, a 'Certificate of Postage' is obtained for each item that is posted although it should be noted that this only establishes that an item has been dispatched. In the event that a claim has to be lodged with the Royal Mail, a 'Certificate of Posting' will support any claim for compensation.

DESPATCH: Wherever possible, auction lots be despatched shortly after the receipt of any PayPal credit or clearance of cheque (receipt of cheque for known customers). However, due to the ever lengthening queues at the local Post Office, items will normally be posted on a Tuesday or Friday.
