Photo is dated 01-06-1955 We have acquired one of the largest collections of Original AP, UPI and various other news service photos from several news media outlets. Most of our photographs are in great condition considering they are 20 - 90 years old. For the most part, they show only moderate handling faults, some editor's marks and artist "touch-ups." A: These photos make great gifts! Even though many of our photos are purchased by collectors and/or investors, we have seen move buyers looking to purchases a truly rare item as a gift for those people who have everything. They can be framed and matted in black or silver as décor for your home, office or media room. Imagine getting your mom, dad or best friend a photo of their childhood hero, or getting that person a particular political figure or historic location they once admired or visited.
A: Yes, if you win multiple auctions on one day you will receive a combined invoice with your shipping discount. If you win auctions on different days, you will receive a consolidated invoice each day you win with all previous purchases. We extend this courtesy out for 10 days and ask that you wrap things up and make payment on outstanding items after those 10 days. NOTE: eBay will not allow us to combine shipping charges across different seller IDs. However, if you send us a note, indicating you have purchases in two or more of our IDs, we will refund any additional S&H charges, resulting in a net $2.99 S&H charge.
A: We typically ship the same business day payments clear, and almost always by the next business day. If you do not receive an "order shipped" email from us by the close of the next business day from submitting payment, please e-mail us. A: Yes--we always leave feedback for buyers. Our software monitors when our buyers leave us feedback, then notifies us that we can leave feedback for the buyer. Rest assured, if you leave feedback, we will do the same!
A: Yes. Grease pencil markings can be wiped off with a dry paper towel (most of which we have already removed). Permanent marker and "painted areas" can be removed with a baby wipe, Clorox wipe, or denatured alcohol, but BEWARE dampness and photos do not mix! Wipe firmly but briefly then dry immediately. Repeat as necessary.
A: We get this question quite a bit, and the answer is a resounding YES!!! :-) Between all of our eBay stores, we ship out hundreds of packages a day, and occasionally we do indeed goof. But we guarantee that nobody in the eBay world tries harder to make things right! If you haven't received your shipment in the timeframe you expected, or if you get the wrong item, please let us know immediately. We ship packages within 24 hours or receipt of payment (except on weekends) and we always send an "Item Shipped" e-mail. If you've paid via PayPal and a couple of days go by without receiving an "Item Shipped" e-mail, please let us know. And if we send you the wrong item, we will send your correct item along with a pre-paid envelope to return the wrong item. About Photos
In the beginning... God created man and woman. Some time later He created the photographer who quickly began to capture the world in still images. In time, those photos would need to be scanned to be a part of a world gone digital. That is where our story begins...
Our company was formed in September 2009, with a handful of scanners and people literally working out of a basement. In those early days, we scanned boxes of photos, 1000 at a time, for our first customers. Today, we occupy almost 10,000 SF of space in Memphis TN, and have 30 team members that give us the ability to fully archive tens of thousands of photos per day. Our company has worked with magazines and newspapers from Detroit, Boston, Denver, Seattle, Tampa, Chicago, Charlotte, and Toronto, just to name a few.
We are constantly adding to our inventory, and have assembled an archive of literally millions of photos to date. As our company evolved, we began our eBay business, which brings 15,000 (or more) auctions per week to the world's largest online auction marketplace. Our custom software systems and team of great employees allow us to efficiently scan and sell large photo archives online. At the very core of our company's DNA is a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and strict integrity for our product. Q: Do you combine shipping and invoices?
A: Multiple photos won on the same seller ID combine automatically through the eBay checkout process. If you encounter problems with this, send us a message via eBay messaging and we will send you an invoice. Per eBay policy, we cannot combine items won on our different seller IDs (e.g. if you win one photo on historicimages05 and one photo on historicimages01, we cannot combine them for a single shipping charge).
Q: How quickly do you ship the items once paid?
